Dalyan Turkey weddingDue to the demands of life the majority of people spend most of their existence dealing with the mundane concerns of daily living. Jobs, friends and family extract the lions share of the time alloted to them leaving little precious time to experience the cornucopia of exciting and exotic experiences available in the world. Many begin their adult years in this situation with the intention of enjoying more enriching experiences in the future. So, with their nose to the grindstone they plod along keeping an eye to that distant day when they'll be able to enjoy the exciting experiences that the fruits of their labors are surely to provide. But often it never arrives as they have becomed conditioned to the year to year routine of which they have become so accustomed. If they had but lived their deferred dreams in small ways then they would have made those longed for distant dreams into an integral part of their life from the beginning. Rather like the old saying... How are you going to keep the boys on the farm once they have seen gay Paree? Once you have seen a colourful paradise it is nie on impossible to settle for the black and white of dull routine. Is there a better occasion to bring exceptional experiences into a marraige than on the very day it begins?

Dalyan Turkey weddingBeginning married life in a paradise seems like smart decision which can set the tone for the years ahead. There are many paradises in various places in the world, but not all that many that contain the diversity of cultural, historic and geographical attributes which the Dalyan area possesses. Are you set on a traditional wedding indoors with a reception at a fine hotel? Prefer an outdoor setting amidst exceptional natural surroundings? Possibly you have never even entertained the thought of being married on a sailboat (Turkish: gulet) cruising offshore in the clear blue waters of the Mediterranean Sea? Dalyan Wedding in Turkey does not offer set wedding packages that lock you into a limited experience. Many of the wedding packages offered by wedding services are designed around partnerships with local businesses and do not always provide what is best for the client, but what is most profitable for their company and its partners. We would rather acquaint you with the area, what it has to offer and then put together a plan that provides you with what best meets your desires. These websites about Dalyan and the surrounding area will give you a starting point from which to know the area a little better.

Dalyan Turkey weddingThere are a diversity of locations to conduct a wedding ceremony in and around Dalyan. Accommodation ranges from small pensions to resort-style hotels to private villas - most of which can easily and enjoyably host both the wedding ceremony as well as a catered reception. Transportation can be provided to any location by car, shuttle, motorcoach or boat - all with English speaking staff. Due to the close proximity of the beaches and Köyceğiz Lake there is large amount of transport done on boats. The boat trips to Iztuzu Beach only take approximately 30 minutes, winding its way down the channel, through the rustling reeds to the open tip of the beach. Chaise lounges and beach umbrellas for rent are available at the beach, and cold drinks and snacks are available. A Turkish style barbeque is served on the boat. Bakardi Bay is just south of Asi Bay between Dalyan and Sarigerme. A paradise for people who love nature. Swimming and snorkelling in the clean seawater of Bakardi Bay. And the best part of the trip is the barbeque prepared with traditional Turkish fare. Its lush meal with lots of spices. You will never ever regret having spent a day doing one of these boat trips. A very queit and very secluded beach more for nature lovers than sun-bathers who wish to lie on a beach chair in the sun. The clear aquamarine blue water is certainly inviting for those who would like to swim or snorkel.

Dalyan Turkey weddingAşi Bay is located just south of Dalyan. Day trips on boats out of Dalyan offer a day on the beach along with a barbeque. The bay has many caverns and caves and offshore is an island where fish gather. It is a popular lay-over point for private and charter yachts plying the coastline. Aşi Beach has a restaurant on the beach where you can order meals and drinks. It can also be accessed from Dalyan and this is usually by boat or booking a jeep tour. Ekinçik Bay is an excellent place to relax and take a break for swimming and sunbathing. Ekinçik is located on the western entry cape of the inlet of Ekinçik and covered with green pine forests. It is a place of great interest with a ancient trail from it to the ruins of the ancient city of Kaunos. Yachts can drop anchor just off the wide sand beach, and also in another inlet exactly opposite the lighthouse. A cooperative of tourboats incorporated by the villagers will take visitors from their sailboat and transport them to Dalyan and to Kaunos. There are restaurants in Ekinçik as well as limited hotel accommodation. You will also be able to enjoy a traditional Turkish barbeque on the beach during this tour as well. With a return to Dalyan at about 5pm in the afternoon, it makes for a great day in the sun.

Dalyan Turkey weddingThe Sultaniye boat trip takes you to scenic Köyceğiz Lake, located near Dalaman International Airport and within a convenient distance of both Fethiye and Marmaris, but closest to Dalyan, is well known for its natural hot springs and mud baths. The waters of Sultaniye are good for both bathing and drinking. The treatment consists of covering the body with a layer of mud and then soaking in the hot mineral water. You will spend hours at the Sultaniye mud baths, swim in Köyceğiz Lake and enjoy a Turkish Barbeque on the boat. The Köyceğiz Market boat trip travels across the lake to Köyceğiz. Old Köyceğiz was once a thriving town on the south coast of Turkey. The original Köyceğiz was owned by the Selcuk people before the Ottoman Empire in the 15th century. The people of Selçuk known as the 'Mentese Ogullari' were a very rich and owned land covering the area from Iztuzu Beach to the other side of the present Köyceğiz. The end came for this thriving people when an earthquake filled the valleys to create what is now Lake Köyceğiz. Only half of the old town still exists. This area is now protected and the original descendants of the Mentese Ogullari occupy the dwellings.

Dalyan Turkey weddingThe Köyceğiz Market boat trip travels on Lake Köyceğiz over the area where half of Old Koycegiz once was. When you arrive in Köyceğiz there is time to walk to the Pazar and shop with the locals that come here every Monday for the weekly market. A couple of hours later the boat leaves and goes back towards Dalyan with a stop at the Mud Baths and an onboard barbeque lunch before returning to the boat jetty at about 5 pm in the afternoon. When the full moon arises in the sky and the cliffs where the ancient Lykian Kings have been buried in their tombs for thousands of years you can board a boat at the river. The tour starts at about 8 pm at night from the harbour and cruises along the riverbed towards Köyceğiz Lake. A Turkish Barbeque is provided on board and you can swim by the boat or dance and drink through the night to music. The cruise finishes around midnight but that's about the time the nightlife is really getting going in Dalyan.

Dalyan Turkey weddingYuvarlakcay is a small village in the mountains past Köyceğiz just a 45-minute drive from Dalyan. There are good restaurants built over the refreshing cold water of the river. After a drive through the mountains on a hot summer day it is an exceptional destination to sit over the river while eating fresh fish and other delightful Turkish cuisine and enjoy an ice-cold Efes beer with friends. Yuvarlakcay is one of the stops on the jeep tours of the area which take tourists in open jeeps through the spectacular scenery surrounding Dalyan.
